Why would you be interested in an older version?
This is a good question. I think you should not, unless you found an old simulation that can not be read with the latest version.
Version 3.3 was a very good one, if only 3.4 updated it.
Version 3.2 never saw light. It was used for internal purposes only.
Version 3.1 was the first totally finished, with complete documentation and rather widely used.
Version 3.0 is an ancestor of it that also works pretty well. Obviously, 3.1 is more advanced.
Version 2.1 has a good peculiarity. Simulations generated with it run in any browser with no need to install any plug-in. But be warned, if you use it, you will not be able to upgrade to version 3.0, unless you rewrite your simulations.
Earlier versions provided the ideas for these two but are not recommended.
However, they are kept here for nostalgic reasons :-)
Older versions
Software
Easy Java Simulations 3.3 (updated December 2004, aprox. 4.9 Mb. ZIP Windows file)
It is backwards compatible up to version 3.0.
Important notice: If you downloaded Ejs 3.3 before December 4th, 2004, you should upgrade right now. Recent releases solve a compatibility problem with Apple MacIntosh computers that cause the generated HTML files for the simulations not to be read correctly by Safari (the standard Web browser in recent versions of MacOSX). You should upgrade even if you are not a MacIntosh user.
Easy Java Simulations 3.1 (released on August 2002, aprox. 1.6 Mb. ZIP Windows file)
This is the last complete version. Includes examples. It is backwards compatible up to version 3.0.
Easy Java Simulations 3.0 (released on March 2002, 1223 Kb. Windows zipped file)
This is a complete version. Includes examples. It is not backwards compatible.
Easy Java Simulations 2.1 (August 2001, 816 Kb. Windows zipped file)
This is a half-documented final version. It is backwards compatible with versions 2.0 and 1.3.
Easy Java Simulations 1.31 (November 2000, 540 Kb. Windows zipped file).
This version is exactly the same as 1.3, but includes Dialogs as a new components. A dialog is like a frame but that always displays on top of its parent.
